To follow the course, you must ****be familiar with basic set theory, supremum and infimum, limsup and liminf, limits, and series. I strongly recommend reviewing this material thoroughly, including doing relevant problems.
All of these topics are discussed in Analysis 1 and 2 modules but there are also many freely available textbooks covering them, for example Lectures 1—9 of the MIT lecture notes by Dote and Rodriguez and the corresponding assignments.
